Head to the Green Man gaming website and pick up a copy of the digital download edition for $44.97 instead of $59.99.  This code is good until August 9th:

One note: I haven't actually figured out how to get my serial code yet for the game.  According to everything I've read you should get a serial code that you then put into the Guild Wars 2 website to activate your copy and download the game client as usual.  It may just be that I'm currently at work and on OSX so I can't use some of the necessary software.

ALSO: I was able to get the GW2 page on GMG to load, but it's been having trouble this morning.  I think the deal is either overloading their servers or that they're just having a glitch.  Either way, I was able to make the purchase, so with any luck I'll be able to download the client when I get home from work tonight.

I took a look for this but I guess they sold out of copies as the game no longer exists there.

I too am interested to know if you got it to work.  I was a little confused even though I bought the game directly from the Arenanet site.  It is a stand-alone game that does not launch through the ncsoft laumcher nor is it connected to your arenanet account and other arenanet games (i.e. Guild Wars 1).

So, after waiting 48 hours and getting no information on their site or through customer service I finally got my answer.  My paypal account did receive a full refund, and for that I give them credit.  What I can also say is that I'm probably not going to use them again since it was a total let down.  Also, I'm pretty sure that they replied to me only after I posted in a forum thread that "wasn't supposed to have posting turned on."  Considering the lack of communication and the botched deal I'm not going to go back to them.

I DID, however, have $20 in Bestbuy rewards coming to me, so I got the prepurchase digital download from them for $39.99 (cheaper than the 25% off in the first place) and don't have to worry about not being able to access my key for the early release.

Could have ended a lot worse, so I'll call it a wash.

I saw some angry threads on there a few days ago.  Not only about GW2 but other games they didn't receive keys for.

Never heard of that website so I was a little skeptical.  Frustrating experience but sounds like it all worked out.
