I'll try and make this series. Since I can buy a tune I have a chance.  :D

Option 2 gets my vote.

I hope things have stabilized here enough so I can make it.

I'd love to drive all of them but I prefer to stay with one car by choice so all 3 options work for me.  I'm going with 330P4.

I put 3 cars in the CG tuned for le Mans. The GT40 is sweet.

I'm going to stick with my 330 even though it corners like an SUV.

SROTH88, last week's GTO tune was dynamite!

A lot of testing this afternoon.

SROTH88's GT40 pulled 4:06 but it can certainly go faster with high confidence.  It was my 2 driving mistakes that slowed it down by at least several seconds.  GT40 is superior in handling but falls short on top speed which matters a lot at Le Mans.

Both SROTH88 & my 330P4 tune resulted in exactly 4:00.88x!  This car has to be slowed down so much before it wants to corner . . .

Anyways, to get lap times below 4:05 on this track requires flat footing through the Mulsanne kink which has to be timed carefully (too late and the car will go on dirt, negating the benefit to be gained from flat footing).  When you get it right, it is a huge rush!

I know the feeling I can hit it at 189 and exit at 185 with the GT40 not so good with the 330 though. With stock tires and very little aero it's very hard for me I usally come out at 170-175.

Sorry, I meant your and my 330P4 tune did 4:00.8, not the GT40.  Despite poor cornering performance of 330P4, it can take the Mulsanne kink at full throttle.

As soon as the car gets over that little hump and stabilizes (about 0.5 seconds), steer full right to put the right side tires near the inside corner and the car will exit squarely on the left side of the track with some room to spare.  Entry timing is absolutely critical.  If you are late, the car will hit the dirt and maybe the barrier too.
