« on: June 26, 2012, 07:48:02 PM »

Anyone else excited about this?  Not sure why I care since I'm still working through the original content lol!

Dawnguard™ is the first official game add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim® - the 2011 Game of the Year. The Vampire Lord Harkon has returned to power. By using the Elder Scrolls, he seeks to do the unthinkable - to end the sun itself. Will you join the ancient order of the Dawnguard and stop him? Or will you become a Vampire Lord yourself? Featuring an all new faction questline and locations, the ultimate choice will be yours.

I'm with you UJ.  Excited for his one even though I haven't finished the original content.  Now I just have to wait for the PC version.

I'm excited! I need more Skyrim.  It's been sitting in my closet for months just waiting for more content.

I'm a buyer for sure.  I predict a few lost hours at some point in the next week...

Yeah, while I'm excited to see this content, I've still got PLENTY left to do in the original.  Maybe I'll start playing again and buy the new content if I finish the main quest from the original.  I also haven't started the Companions quest line at all... And I did want to try and get all those Dragon Priest Masks... and then there were a few more open quests in my tab... Ummmmm... yeah, do I really need MORE Skyrim now? haha

I've got it but haven't started it. I need a 12 step program for Legos first.

So I had every opportunity to download and play this but passed and played more Battlefield in between reading Guild Wars 2 skill lists.  Guess this puts me on the maybe list...?

I finally started playing this and I'm enjoying it greatly. I hope others are playing as well the need to find where the fourth shard is for the lost to the ages quest.

I started playing this the other day.  I needed to take some time to get used to the feel of the game again.

I started the first mission in Dawnguard but then I had to go somewhere.  I really need to set aside a solid amount of time before I sit down with it again.

Be sure to read the books lying around Dawnguard to get the mission I'm on  ;D.  Fortunatley it's not a real big place. I don't remember exactly where the book is.

A friend of mine finished the expansion as a vampire and enjoyed it. I was moving along as a Vampire Hunter and having fun until an apparent glitch keeps me from moving forward in the story. Without giving too much away a character is supposed to read an elder scroll so I can move forward. But when the character arrives he gets into a battle with another of our team. Of course neither can be killed because they're both inportant to the continuation of the story. so they fight until one goes down, only to rest and then get back into fighting. If I try to speak I get the comment that the person is busy. I've done about 12 side missons but everytime I return they're into the eternal fight.
