Are we doing race points again?  :D

Yes, but different from the previous ones.

Point system:
1st Place 10pts, 2nd Place 7pts, 3rd Place 5pts, 4th Place 3pts, 5th Place 2pts, 6th Place 1pt,
Fastest (clean) Lap not on the podium 1pt

Only the best results of 4 events will count, so it's not that bad if one misses a race due to RL.

That little Ford is really growing on me.  It drives and looks great (from all angles except the rear view).

This car was so fun to drive I started doing the season races with this car where possible.  The handling is absolutely superb and high speed corner turn-in is phenomenal; it actually behaves like a FR but accelerates with no oversteer common with FR.  The car is so good that it cracked some of the top 1000 times on more than 1 track!

This car reminded me why I love the low class cars (F/E/D) so much.

Watch out for the fast moving Ford Ka!  :)

Thanks, aquiel!

Just a small reminder for tomorrow: we race the GP circuit not the National circuit (as last week).

Lotus Tracks/Events:
2012-07-07:  20 Laps Hockenheim Grand Prix Circuit -> expected lap time: 2min

F-Class Tracks/Events (after Lotus race):
2012-07-07: 12 Laps Hockenheim Club Circuit -> expected lap time: 1min20s

Yeah, I'm indoors type of guy.  I do not like heat, sunlight, nor sweating . . .

My Lotus time was 2:01.x but the Ford Ka was 1:19.8.  Would have been a great race . . .

It looks like I'm back in the race!!!

I think that is correct. At least the time conversion tools calculate it, too.

The ranking of the Lotus race at the end was (I think)

1. Derek
2. aquiel
3. OG

?  GRD
?  D Seeker
?  Sroth

Maybe somebody raced it to the end?
If yes, please gift me the replay. Thanks.

Are you referring to the first race: Everyone raced it to the end except Aquiel.

From my memory the finish was:
1Derek
2OG
3Seeker
4GRD
5Roth
6Aquiel DNF

Here is the same last corner from my cars perspective in helicopter view:

Last corner

If you watch my driver you notice his hands do not juke right and into you.

I came off the curbing and was trying to recover the car from pushing and
went straight into you as you were trying to turn in is how I saw it in game.

The game will skew the action depending on whos car you are watching it from, I've found.

No one else's paintjob showed up for me either save the one I was in.

Those were some excellent close races.

Collisions, of course, are regrettable but unavoidable in close racing, especially on a tight track.

From my perspective, you guys both finished ahead of me!

No hard feelings OG, always going to be some bumps especially on such a small track with competitive racers!
That track does seem really good for bumper-bumper racing

I think there must have been milliseconds between 1-2-3 on that one.

Elise racing was really good. I watched through the 1st 7 or so laps to get some photos and the amount of chnages of the top three was amazing.
