I don't know if it's a USA only holiday so i apologize to our Canadians and others.

looking at smoked brisket here. WWill post pics tomorrow.
What has mood to do with it? You fight when the necessity arises-no matter the mood! Mood's a thing for cattle or making love or playing the baliset. It's not for fighting.

Typical Bakersfield BBQ day. One and a half hours to go on my brisket. I forgot to take prep pics so you'll have to wait until I unwrap it.

Brisket is some cooking. Gravy made out of the drippings, which were plentiful.

But it's still cooking outside.

Looks like a successful father's day to me!  Steaks ended up being pretty good.  Ate a little bit more than I should have, but I enjoyed it.  Hope everyone had a good Father's day.

Had my Dad and my Brother over on Saturday.

Grilled some chicken/hotdogs/burgers and slow roasted a pork.

Add a few Sam Adams, and it was a great day with my Dad and brother!
