July DLC announced   Link

Again some really good cars (Vantage V600, XK120 and Lotus XI) and some that I'm really not fussed about...

Still haven't picked up last months pack, I might hold out for the next sale.
The eventual Forza 4 Ulitmate Edition is going to be awesome for someone who hasn't played it yet

I had the day off today, so I spent some time buying a bunch of new cars, and then spent some time upgrading and painting the 40 Ford coupe.  I didn't set it up for any particular track, but I brought it up to S class, gave it fatter tires in the rear, partly for aesthetics and partly to get the front/rear weight ratio closer to 50:50.  I also cranked up the rear ride height and dropped the front.

Then my 5-year-old daughter said she liked the car, so I gifted it to her.  I hadn't realized that you lose your car when you gift it to someone else!

If we only had Darlington to race the Hornets.

Incidentally, I had the Shelby engine in the '40 Ford.  My daughter just kept spinning the tires and couldn't keep the car in a straight line.  I put the stock engine back in (80-something HP!) and she did 3 laps (I forget what track it was) by herself!  She scraped the walls a bit, but this is a huge step!  Usually, she wants to hold a controller, but mostly sit and watch me play.

She's scared of Kinect, too; she doesn't like the idea that the TV's watching her.  :)

That sounds great, Rich.  If she can do that at age 5, she's going to be a hot lapper in no time!
