I'm good with that.  '50's open top roadsters are fantastic!

Instead of 50 laps, I recommend the race finish criteria by time, say, 30 minutes.  Then the race winner is the driver who has covered the most distance and EVERYONE finishes at the same time.

Actually, I might do that in LeMan's race; set it for 40 minutes per leg.

Tested all the cars today at Sebring Club.
Upgarded them to B500 adjusted final drive ratio. No other adjustments so I could get a feel for them they all drove great out of the box. Here are the times to start with. I only ran 3-4 laps each.

1958 Auston Martin DBR1 1:20.0
1955 Porsche 550 Spyder 1:18.8
1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa 1:18.8
1957 Maserati 300S 1:19.3
1959 BMW 507 1:20.2
1958 MG MGA Twin-Cam 1:20.0
1956 Jaguar D-type 1:20.7

sounds good, will test them later. For fathers day I just said I want to do what I want. Which usually equals racing lol. Dont care about the fancy dinner just let me do my thing on fathers day.  Like I mentioned I may not be able to make all the wed. races but will see. Already leaning towards the porsche, just because I like Porsches. Will put them thru the paces in a few..

I'll respond to your Porsche with the Ferrari.  It is not the best handling car of the bunch but it looks so good . . .

Even though the Ferrari is faster so far around Sebring Club;
I'm thinking the Maserati 300S will be my ride.
Still need to check out the Jag and the Aston Martin and update their B tunes yet.
The BMW, Porsche and the MG are by far the easiest to pilot and quick but they lack a bit of soul and or character beyond how they look.

hey whats up guys, ran 4 of the cars. Not on the short tracks though, will do that tomorrow. Ran the Porsche, MG, BMW and the Ferrari. Going into it I was already set on the porsche. Was quite suprised at the other cars except the Ferrari. Right now I am leaning towards the BMW, really liked the way it handled. Then again that was on Infineon Long.

Anyways hope the father's had a good day. See ya guys during the week.

HEY hey,

Finally got some testing in for all the cars at Sebring club. Nice track should be a good race. Looks like my original decision about the porsche, was right on the money.

Sebring club times. 10 laps per car

Porsche: 1.14.7  can probably squeeze some more out of it. Was by far the easiest car, to drive fast.

MG: 1.15.3  Have to disagree with OG, as far as the MG being one of the easier cars to drive. At least for me it wasnt, the rear end can come out to easy if your not carefull. To much effort needed to put in those fast times. Throttle response is critical to fast times.

Ferrari: 1.15.5 again have to disagree with OG, as far as being the fastest around Sebring. At least not for me. In more capable hands maybe it is. That and its a Ferrari, just cant stand em.

BMW: 1.15.3 times right there with the MG, but found the BMW more forgiving. A little easier than the MG to drive fast

Aston: 1.16.0 not a bad little car, liked the steering. over all a decent little car.

Jaguar: 1.16.0  The Jag suprised me, its pretty quick and can hold times with the porsche thru some parts of the track. Not as easy to drive fast

Maserati: 1.15.2 This is a pretty good little car also. This is the only other car I got the closest to my Porsche times in. It can run with the Porsche I believe, just need to pay attention :)

For me, its between 3 cars the Porsche, Maserati and the Jaguar. Some more seat time and I will have a choice. There was only 1 standout in the bunch. That was the Porsche, by almost a full second.

Remember the only tuning done is the final drive. I'll work on them today.

I've got some benchmark times to compare to then using my Ferrari.

I was tuning it last night at Maple Valley (under 45 seconds).  It is still work in process but it is turning in much better now . . .

Please note that I was speaking to my own tuned versions and not the CG cars.

I really do like the Maserati but still need to make it just a bit quicker as the Ferrari is still the quickest and easier to drive.

I haven't spent much thime with the others save the Aston which does handle nicely but is way slow.
I may be able to get some better times out of it...
...if I have the time.

Didnt even dawn on me you were using your own tunes OG DUHHHH.  ???

Got some more practice in last night, saw GRD was running some laps. Checked leaderboards he was at 1.16. Thought he is still a little ways off. Check back later he is at a 1.14.1 as I post a 1.14.3....  ;D Thought I had him, lol nope.  Just a quick question, regarding a couple of the previous posts. Noticed SROTH said the tunes were not to adjusted othe than final drive ratio's. So how does that work, is there just one set of cars we can use, or does everyone get to tweak the car to there liking. OG does his own tunes I noticed GRD said he was tweaking his to turn in more.

Since I havent been here very long, and going by SROTH's earlier post. Not sure what is allowed and what isnt. Looking forward to tonight I will be there

It's pretty amazing what some tuning can do.  Looked at the telemetry, made adjustments, now the Ferrari is competitive, turning 1:14's at Sebring Club and it does it in style.
