I'm thinking of hitting Jade Quarry Borlis Pass this wknd.

I see a number of familiar names from GW1 and it brings a tear to my eye...enjoying the good old days as a Necro (and a Hunter, and Ritualist...)...spamming Spiteful Spirit in the underworld for Ecto and Shards....farming Ettins for runes...partying up with random fools to become Weh no Su....

Does anyone know if the beta client will be the same game we play for the final version or do we have to download a new game client?  Pre-purchasers get to start playing on the 25th but I can't find any info on the game client.

Main reason I ask is my beta client was installed on my c: drive and I'd actually like to uninstall that and install the final game on my secondary drive.

*edit*  Figured it out. Delete the beta client, download the new game client.

I have that same dilemma.  I thought I remembered reading that the clients would indeed be different. I deleted all of my game data and will re-download when the release client becomes available.  I can't say anything 100% factual, but it is very rare that the beta client is the same as the release.

I'm getting mixed responses on other sites some saying that the beta client will be patched.  My account page gave me the option to download the client so its currently downloading to the location where I want and I just deleted the beta files from my main drive.  It can't hurt to re-download the game either way.

I want to be all ready to go on the 25th lol.

Just picked this up, downloaded and ready to go.
