Sound off if you're going to be playing this weekend.

Last chance to figure out your new life in Tyria!

As for world, I'm going to give Borlis Pass a try.

Passing on this beta weekend and just waiting for release to give the new content a try.  Excited for it to come out, but not excited to the point where I have to play beta.  :)

Goals: try thief, if I liked it try hunter, dig in on Ele combos

Thief presents an interesting tactical challenge as far as combining skills and managing initiative.  Good for both soloing and grouping up (tons of combo finishers).  I enjoyed playing it and see it as something that has a wealth of possibilities across PvP & PvE.

I played it as a Sylvari and that beginning section is just lovely.  I am generally partial to playing Human (did nothing but in WoW) but may run my first alt through this section when the time comes.

I instantly disliked playing Hunter.  I mean, instantly.  It may be related to the fact that I don't very much care for the Asura either.

That said, I fell in love with the Ele all over again.  Spent most of my time switching between staff and dual daggers.  Got a lot more comfortable making my enemies move by creating fields that precluded them from teeing off on my squishy a$$.  Running a water staff ele means plenty of chills and vulnerability for the enemy and heals and condition removal for teammates.  Switch to earth and you can basically perma-cripple your enemies.

It's a beautiful and well made game.  Can't wait to dig in.
