I'm sitting this one out as well, we have the flu suffle going on in my house, been sick all week. I may get on and do some single player or paint, I just don't feel up to an online race right now. I have a tough enough time being fast when I'm well. I'm sure ill catch yall all next week, and if I don't see yall before than I wish every one to have a very happy and safe holiday.

Good stuff in spite of the thin showing but the foundation is sound.

Now if I can just get things to stay together for me or at least
not change so drastically during the racing...

Only 3 of us turned out for the race.  The participation was thin but the race was tight.

So the unofficial race outcome is:

1st:     OG Wretch (3 points)
2nd:    sroth88 (2 points)
3rd:     GRD43L (1 point)

And all 3 of us get 1 attendance point.  No points for pole this week as the lap time logging was totally wonky and refused to register fastest lap times.

I'll have the official end of race posted as well as points standings along with pictures later.

Next Event Announcement:  Catalunya GP.  Due to holiday season, official race will be on Jan 4th, 2012 as stated in the table.  However, for those who want some action I will host unofficial "for fun" race at Catalunya on Wed, Dec 28th.  Even on Mon/Tues evenings, if I can, I will have the lobby open at about 10pm EST for practice at short tracks at Catalunya Circuit.

I think I got this table thing figured out . . . pretty neat and useful but little cumbersome to use . . .

The race started with sroth sleeping at the wheel and fell back to 3rd place right from the start!  OG was on the ball and picked up the lead with GRD right behind.


By 2nd lap, there was a comfortable spread among the 3 but still within close range.


GRD was able to gain some grounds and get REALLY close to OG.  Going through the high speed right hand turns GRD was able to make the pass . . .


but could not make it stick because he did this to himself (in the background, OG is in the foreground) by riding on the inside curb little too deep and little too fast at wrong approach angle.  OG, of course, takes over the lead once again and will remain there for the rest of the race.  sroth88, endowed with 100% falls back in mid race but able to make up the lost grounds towards the end.

It really was to my good fortune that you decided to do aerobatics instead of race.

SRoth did keep the pressure up on all but just a couple of laps.

I still don't know how I managed the last few laps with my hands going claw on the controller.

Same here, wasn't feeling that great and just couldn't motivate myself to get up and do an online race as I knew I wouldn't be able to concentrate so sorry I missed it. Hopefully in the New Year we will all be refreshed and raring to go !

The widebody kit does look good and I'll post some of it installed on my ride later Today.

I'm running my tune but have yet to adjust it to be a little quicker on the short tracks.

We all were within just a few tenths at most every track we ran last night.
