I've had the new dashboard for a few weeks now as part of the "beta" test and I love it.  Its very sleek and modern.  The new ability to post achievement unlocks as facebook status updates is sure to annoy all my friends and family.  And beacons are the best thing MS ever added to XBL functionality.

P.S.  If anyone is looking to spruce up their dashboard without spending MSP on themes then take a look at my dashboard wallpaper gallery here.  I already have a few, including updated versions of the DBBQ wallpapers I did a while back.  I'm working on more and also take requests.

Be sure and click on the image or the "Download Image" link in the upper right corner of each wallpaper's page to get the highest resolution version of the wallpaper.  The dashboard covers a good bit of the background but I create them specifically to make the best use of the available space.

If anyone doesn't know how to view or apply an image as your dashboard background, instructions can be found here.  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909161

I just thought she would make a good background for any of our single members. Plus, as a gamer, she is gaming related.  ;D

I think you flag a game you would like to play that night/play session and all your friends can see it.

i like the new look.  I am a little disappointed there is not more room in the cloud storage.  I was hoping to not have to buy another hard drive and just purchase room and install my games on cloud storage.   Oh well....the functions are cool though.  I like the bing search and the friends stuff.  Also cool that you can do everything with voice/kinect/or controller.

I like the streamlined look, the beacons, and the cloud storage.  It'll be fun to have access to Youtube too.

Do beta testers get updated? I'm still running on what I have had for a while.
