Beertopia: 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall

My friend just took his family to Delaware this week for spring break and he is picking me up a bottle of 120 minute IPA from Dogfish Head.  Here's a like with a little explanation of what this beer is all about.  15-20% ABV and 120 IBU.  I really don't know how they call this a beer.

Dude, before I knew about really strong beers, we were on the summer vacation at the beach in Delaware with the wife's family.  I pulled one of those out of my Uncle Mike's ice chest and started drinking it while I watched a movie.  Took me the whole movie to get it through it and I told my wife, "watch out for the beer with the shark on it." 

Good stuff!

LOL!  Thats it!  If it has a bright green bottle cap, BEWARE!  There is a Worldwide Stout which is the other beer they brew with the green bottle cap. 

My neighbor bought a 4 pack of them and he handed 3 of them out to me and two other neighbors.  We are going to pick one night and all get hammered off of one beer.

3 outta 5 Briquettes - I would have gave it a 4 outta 5 but it just tasted too flat. Nice flavor though

3 1/2 outta 5 Briquettes - It was really only a 3 outta 5 but watching the Devils beat the Flyers while it was consumed gave it an extra 1/2 point

Brett...funny you mention that.  My first batch of home brew many years ago kind of exploded and my (then) wife used it in her hair.  Was funny watching her open it in the shower and it would be like Old Faithful Geyser and shoot up in the air and go all over.

ODD? It gets decent reviews over at Untappd.com but that's only based on 16 reviews. I usually like the cream ales, that's too bad.

Could have been an old batch or something. Not just me, because my brother-in-law had one too, and declined to have more. I was forced to drink the rest myself. The Guinness draft we had a few days earlier at The Keg was really good.
