Dark Souls. Anyone going to get this in October?

I'm about level 26, I just started exploring Darkroot garden and Darkroot Basin.  I wish there was a little less soul grinding involved but man I love this game.

Do you grind often?

I haven't repeated an area purposely until now. In fact, I may not even bother soul grinding here and just go find some other area to explore until I feel like I'm ready to take on the boss.

My girlfriend and a co-worker I chat with spend a lot of time grinding though.

Everyone has a different method!

I did a bunch of grinding in Undead Burg, Deeproot Forest and Anor Londo when I had specific goals (rings, spells etc.) I was trying to hit.  Figuring out an efficient grind is always a fun little game within a game for me.

I'm around level 24 or so and just rang the first bell last night... REALLY enjoying this game and the feeling of accomplishment/relief you get from doing relatively minor things.  I haven't really been grinding too much (except when I know I'm a few hundred souls away from something I want), but mostly exploring.  I find that traveling between areas and methodically not skipping enemies gives me enough souls to keep up with the game.

Also, I die a lot and the constant loop of fighting back to my body usually is a nice way to unintentionally grind an area

Just knocked off Gravelord Nito. Got slightly derailed by BF3. Aiming to wrap it up prior to the Elder Scrolls release next week.

There's no way Ill finish before Skyrim comes out. I'm still exploring Darkroot Forest/Basin. Ill be working on this for a long time.

I'm in the same boat as Udder... Been hanging in the Depths but still haven't fought the area boss yet.  It's crazy how I feel like I've been playing this game at a good pace but haven't come anywhere near close to finishing it.  I'm not the gamer I used to be, haha.
