Had some time to play this tonight and it is awesome. It has been years since I've played a fighting game. Jumped right into online play private with braincake and had fun beating on each other learning some moves. Finished the tutorial and did about 10 challenges.

So far really liking how much you can do in a fighting game and how smooth the game is. Will be playing this one for a while.

Sorry to hear your frustration Vanished.

Eric- glad you are enjoying MK. It is fun and even better playing with friends. We'll have to do a KOTH night again soon

Yeah vanished, sorry again it isnt working out. I know shelling out $60 for a game and getting frustrated with it is tough. Been there, done that on a few occasions.

Maybe you can get some decent coin if you sell it.

Mark down to $19.99 new at Wal Mart. PS3 includes Kratos character. Saw this on Saturday while food shopping.

Did you pick this one up Bud Man?  I haven't played in a long time, but would love to get together for multiplayer with others once in awhile.

Yep. Got it Neptune...totally suck though. I can't see how people can memorize all those combo moves.

Yeah, I'm not good at MK either.  I'm with you on the combos.  For some reason Street Fighter X Tekken is WAY easier for me.  I like the art style better in MK, but it's not as playable as some other fighters that I've given preference to in the last year.  I'd probably make a perfect opponent for you, just mashing buttons until one of us punches the other to death.  :)

Thank god there is a time limit on matches....we could be there for DAYS battling it out. lol

My story with MK. I had it for 360 when it first came out, played a month or so, continued to get ownd all the time. Traded it to try and get good coin out of it on one of those 'extra 50% trade bonus' gamestop deals. Well, saw it yesterday at $19.99 NEW and wanted a MK game for my library and snatched it up. Ya know, sometimes you fell like beating the hell outta somebody and MK fits the bill. lol

My kids have fun with it and it is a really cool online friendly game with private matches and KOTH rooms that have the theatre mode.
