It feels like the game has just opened up for me and I'm addicted again!

Sent from my Android phone using Taptalk 2.

The Pyro glove is awesome to use. Great Choas Fireball is epic. Keep leveling the glove and your damage will be higher.

Once you clear Sen's Fortress, you will open up Anor Londo and once you beat that level, you will obtain the Lord Vessel which will allow you to warp between bonfires. Alot easier warping than back-tracking. :)

Udder- have you opened up the shortcut to the Depths yet? Early on in that level is an Ember the blacksmith can use to bump your weapons from +5 up to +10. The Divine Ember is up the stairs after you beat the Moonlight Butterfly boss and that will allow you to ascend your weapon with Divine stats.

Really in-depth game and alot of different ways you can build your toon, IF you can handle the level of frustration that builds in the early going until you get more powerful weapons/spells.

I think you need Demon Titanite or Dragon's Scales to upgrade the Drake Sword and you can't buy those at blacksmiths or merchants.

Most others only require 9 Titanite Shards to get to +5. Those can be bought at most blacksmiths/merchants. Then you will need either Green Titanite or Large Titanite Shards to upgrade past +5. Those can be bought from the Blacksmith in Anor Londo, or the merchant in Sen's Fortress (I think)

Well, I got my extra attunement slot and a few new pyro spells and decided to go poking around in The Great Hollow.  There's a ton of titanite shards in there.  After a while i Manged to fall to the bottom and drop about 8K souls.  On my way back down I got cursed by the lizard things.  Great.  :P

The Great Hollow is brutal IMO. All those frogs down there are a PITA! I always make sure I got a few Cursed Stones handy cuz they always seem to get me, or I roll off the tree trying to dodge their attacks.  >:(

Working on my Faith/Miracle build recently. Liking what I have built so far. Took my Ugichanta to +10 and ascended to the Choas Blade using Queelang's Soul. Does +300 extra bleeding damage and hits really fast.  Now, down to Tomb of Giants to try and rescue the Princess. She sells all the damage miracles and I want to get the Wrath of Gods Miracle. One of the strongest miracles in the game.

Anyone planning on picking up the Artorias DLC? I believe it's dated for Aug 24.

Artorias DLC is now live for 360/ps3. I downloaded it today. Requirements to access the area is , beat the Hydra in Darkroot Basin, beat the gold Crystal Golem to free Dusk and then you must beat the Crystal Golem at the beginning of Duke's Archive. The pendant will drop from him and then make your way back to Darkroot Basin. Where the gold Golem was, there is a black portal. Walk up to it and 'examine'. You are then taken to the new area.

PREPARE TO DIE!

Played some of the DLC this weekend. Nothing like fighting a boss right as you enter the fog into the new DLC. lol

Died 6 straight times before I decided I needed to beef up my lvl 57 more before going back. Couple of times I got the boss down to 1/2 health, only to get pwnd to death.

The summon sign IS YOUR FRIEND. lol

I used it and was able to summon 2 folks to assist me all the way to the final boss on the level ....then.....we failed.....twice..... lol

Lots of cool new armor and weapons to find with the dlc. Also, some pretty EPIC pyromancy and magic spells found also.

I pretty much had to bypass the 3rd bonfire as I was with a group and could not rest. Some powerful bosses and enemies in the DLC. Good luck trying to solo unless you are a higher level.

I own this for PS3 but haven't had the ability to play my console a lot since my son was born.  The living room just isn't a good place to game anymore.  I'm thinking of picking up the "Prepare to Die" edition for PC.  Amazon has it on sale right now for 20 bucks.  Is it something that can be played casually?  I'm pretty into WoW right now, but occasionally I feel like getting of the game for an hour or so every few days.
