The best way to counter-act the PVP issues is to unplug your ethernet cable. ;) That way you can turn human and run through most of the game.

Or boost those pyromancy skills! You'll need them for PvP!

Lots of wisdom, there.
What has mood to do with it? You fight when the necessity arises-no matter the mood! Mood's a thing for cattle or making love or playing the baliset. It's not for fighting.

I kind of like the random element that surprise invasions bring to the game.

I do enjoy the random and sometimes harrowing encounters that invasions add to the game.  There's nothing more enjoyable than killing a red phantom (or more frustrating than being caught off guard by one).  For me I suppose that I feel things in Anor Londo are out of hand when guys are essentially farming for people using the Darkmoon Covenant Ring by waiting with an ally for you to get dropped into their world.

I also remember a time when I was using the Forest Covenant Ring and got killed by a red phantom while I was also invading another player's world.  I recall getting really annoyed because we were both their to kill the same person, and instead he killed me.  Whhhhyyyyyy?!

I made it to boss #2 last night on the slim bridge on the tower.

EPIC Fail! lol.....I need to beef up a little bit first I think before I go back. I lost over 3000 souls too.  ::)

Beat the Taurus Demon last night. Found out the drop attack from the archer tower worked well. Ended up farming souls after I kicked down the ladder to the bonfire on the bridge. Ran up the stairs, triggered the undead on the bridge then let the dragon do the rest. 555 souls in about 30 seconds w/o combat. Rinse/repeat.

It is a HUGE help as you'll be able to 2-hit enemies that previously required lengthy battles.

Made it through the Moonlight Butterfly boss this weekend in the Darkroot Garden. Slowly progressing thru and trying to be as maticulous as possible. Got my character to level 28 and with the Drake Sword. Still dying some, but really am enjoying this game tremendously.

Cool!  Hes actually one of the easier bosses in the game. :o  Pretty soon you'll encounter some normal enemies that are almost mini-bosses in and of themselves.  Tough battles but good for farming souls.

Yeah, I was surprised that the Moonlight boss wasn't TOO difficult. lol

Glad I had my shield with higher magic defense equipped b/c if i was hit, damage was minimal.
