Finished the man cave
« on: May 23, 2010, 03:18:57 PM »
Well I had put it off forever but finally got it done last weekend.  Theres still a few tweaks I wanna do but for the most part im happy with my man cave.

Wall 1 with the Futon, Dart board and Bobby Hull autographed Jersey.

Wall 3 - Team signed Avs and Flyers jerseys from 2002, Patrick Roy and Donald Brashear autographed pic.  Panaoramic Of the Avalanche Last Stanley Cup win.

Wall 2 with the Recchi game used Stick my brother got after a thrashers game, Recchi handed it to him going down the tunnel.  Golf ball display cases.

A nice shot of the Puck display case with a puck from every NHL team, and the Coor light Neon.

The last wall im not happy with, Im gonna pop a flat screen in there and maybe to the sides or underneath I have a Sandlot and Remember the Titans movie posters Id like to frame and add.

There is a pool table underneath that Hockey Beer pong table.  For a party from work we decided to play beer pong and I could just sit there looking at a plain piece of wood sitting in a room I was putting a lot of work into so I did up a hockey rink.

Must thank my brother for most of the beer signs as well as some of the vendors that come in the restaurant I manage at.

The stick above the Bobby Hull jersey is kinda a funny story.  I was at a Huntsville Havoc game (local minor league team about 90 minutes away from me).  My name was called for one of the intermission "games".  The game was to put a puck in from 15 feet out for a free ticket,  or form the near Blue line for tickets and tshirt, red line was more, far blue line was even more stuff, doing any of it on skates was a jersey, team signed game used stick, game used and signed stick from player of your choice, puck, hat, 5 tickets to games of your choice and a buch a little crap.

So I said I would like to try it on skates, I hammed it up as I came on the ice, slipping, hugging the wall (I played Ice hockey for 2 years as well as roller hockey for 5 so I have some skill).  Once they told me what I needed to do (which was basically get it past the two announcers who were wearing shoes on ice and score I won).

So they dropped the puck and I still hammed it up, acting off balance and crap. The announcers immediately came after me im assuming to try and poke check it.  Anyway, once they got close enough I blew past them and headed towards the net and stopped in front of the net showing off.  I then played with them for about 2 minutes, skating around making them chase me until I decided to just to put them out of their misery by taking a slap shot from the point (which I almost missed - I was rusty).  Anyway they asked me where I learned all that and I told them I lived in Philly for 10 years and played hockey for 7.

That's terrific!! Wanna rent it out?
What has mood to do with it? You fight when the necessity arises-no matter the mood! Mood's a thing for cattle or making love or playing the baliset. It's not for fighting.
