I was under the impression that you couldn't import any type of illustration or photo and work on it in the livery. At least that is what I read on the Forza 2 forums. Very cool.

Now how to explain to the wife that I really need a new computer and a video capture device so that I can rake in millions in virtual credits and be at the top of the Forza designer leaderboards...hmm

Unfortunately the Pinnacle capture software won't let you expand the capture screen any bigger than about 4" by 5"  and is too small to get the transparent image to fit. Dang it!

Pinnacle Studio Ultimate V12 which is what came with my capture device.

A cheaper way is to buy a pack of clear overhead projector paper and some wipe off markers, if you have a bit of artist in you...

Then you could just put it on your tv screen. Yeah that would work. But my artist skills are horrible. ;D

I dont think your importing the image as much as you are overlaying the tranperant over the screen capture of the livery editor. Then using you use your 360 controller while looking at the pc monitor since that will display the livery editor and the transperant image at the same time and you design the livery under the transperancy. . . I think

Your Right Santar0s.  I got the Windows Transparency program but as small as the capture screen is I couldn't even reduce the transparency window small enough to fit over the capture window. I know there is probably different capture software, I am going to search for some freeware or a cheap version and see if it is any better. I have a 256 mb video card so I think it could handle the bigger capture screen besides creating a vinyl isn't as graphically intense as racing or shooter games.
