i finally found my answer when i was wondering where the live recordings came from for the kiss dlc (parasite, 100,000 years, and deuce) for 7/30 came from...

i was surely hoping they were from the 70s and not from the new tours/members.

On the official boards HmxHenry wrote :

"Sorry for taking so long to get back to you guys on this. All of Community Team has been out of the office since Thursday afternoon so we weren't able to get to a lot of stuff until this morning. Thanks for bearing with us.

And, in response to Alvarado, I can't tell you what album these tracks are from because they're not from an album. DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUN! Turns out these tracks are something of a unique arrangement as they are from a live tour but they are alternate recordings not featured on an album. Read on.

These three live KISS songs were pulled from their 1975 Dressed To Kill tour. Recordings from this tour were used in the KISS Alive! album in 1975, but the tracks that we are getting are not exactly the same as those featured on the album. So: same tour, different versions. Pretty cool, especially for KISS super fans looking to hear a new twist on an old favorite.

And speaking specifically to the questions about 100,000 Years, our Audio QA team is telling me that this song clocks in at just under 6 minutes but still features an extended drum solo. Word on the street is that it's pretty awesome.

Hopefully that answers all the lingering questions about the upcoming KISS DLC. We're trying to be a bit more proactive in getting info to you guys in rare instances like this. Thanks so much for your patience. "

I will be downloading the KISS Pack, seen them 2 times in concert and have all there early albums (yes albums)
