Title: "Link to Calendar" button...
Post by: I am Canadian on June 09, 2012, 10:08:47 AM
I'm not sure if everyone is aware but after you create a game night or event you have the option to post it to the SMF Calendar (http://digitalbbq.net/index.php?action=calendar). There are 2 ways to do this and it would be huge help  :)

1. There is a "Link to Calendar" button at the bottom of the page after you create the event.
2. There is also an "Additional Options" button during the creation of the post you can use.

I'm trying to get all the events posted to the main page calendar (which will eventually be linked to Google Calendar on the main page if I ever figure it out) but for now I'm using doing it manually by looking at the SMF Calendar (http://digitalbbq.net/index.php?action=calendar).  :(

I'll try to make use of that!

I just realized that events in the calendar here were being pushed to my google calendar.  Not sure how they got connected, I don't remember doing anything but its pretty cool.

Sent from my Android phone using Taptalk 2.

I still have to manually post the Google Calendar but I think you are already using the "Link to Calendar" button Udder, it's appreciated  :)

Why is it that the BF night is showing up on the Calendar only when I select "Calendar" but it is not showing when I look at the home page calendar.

Weird...  Usually it shows up in both places.  I tried linking the post to the calendar and it did the same thing to me.

The 2 calendars are not linked, I have to manually put in the stuff on the main page.
