Saying Goodbye...
« on: March 27, 2017, 11:59:05 AM »
Well, I see that there has not been much activity since I got the site back up.  As I mentioned in a previous thread, site activity has been way down.  Coupled with our use of Discord for chat and in-game coms along with HostGator's increasing incompetence, I will be shutting down the site.

I am working out some issues with Host Gator now as they have been double billing me and I'm not sure if this will result in the immediate closure of the site or if it will remain up to the end of the year.

Either way I urge everyone to connect to the DigitalBBQ Facebook page (link is above and to the right) and to download Discord and join us.  If the site does go down again it will probably not come back up.

Thank you and it's been real!

I have enjoyed my time here Tim...met lot's of great people who I was able to game with...talk about tech and movies and food and life in general. We all need to stay in touch on Facebook or discord.

This gen of consoles, along with Steam and other apps, has taken away the need for sites such as DBBQ. It is tough to recruit new players, as they match up with people online...and now that Xbox Live, PSN, and Steam all have groups or communities, which I know there is a DBBQ one on Live...not sure about PSN, as well as Steam has a DBBQ group...that is a good way to keep in touch.

Thanks to Brett and Steve starting the site so many years ago, and to Tim for taking it over and dealing with the site host.

I will update my user names tonight when I am home.

Wow, while it's shocking to see the Q leave, I understand it's time to move forward with our means of communication.

The discord chat works well! Having Facebook to schedule events isn't a bad idea either.

Lots of great times here and great memories to boot.

The people I met here are what made this place a joy. I am not seeing a facebook link anywhere. Can someone direct link me to it?

Hate to hear about this, but don't get on here near as much as I used to either.  It's been a great place.   :(

Glad to have "somewhat" meet everyone I have on here.
All give some, but some give all. Thank you veterans for my freedom.

I will try to get more content up as well on the Facebook page. The Discord app/site is really nice...and runs in the background on PC pretty effortlessly

This site made gaming for me. Never would have had the fun and enjoyment I got from XBox without it. My interest lost steam when the players went to PC and at the same time I didn't have the time to dedicate to gaming anymore.

Thanks to all the players I enjoyed playing with. I still remember the old days of Gears Night and Battlefield Nights and of course all the Forza racing with a big smile.

Virtual Telephone Figures Takes Outstanding Place In Company
« Reply #12 on: Today at 10:59:03 AM »
As the proprietor of a house-based catering business, I have usually recognized the importance of creating a good first impact on potential customers. For years, I attempted to juggle my time in between cooking and serving meals at occasions, and trying to make myself accessible to solution phone calls from new customers. Lastly, I discovered the perfect solution - a virtual phone method.

Internet fax services can offer you with methods of keeping track of your files much more effortlessly. Have you at any time received an important doc, and then misplaced it or still left it at home? What about all the occasions your fax device was out of ink or paper, or the paper in the machine got jammed, so you weren't in a position to get the fax at all? You could call the other person on the telephone and ask them to deliver it once more, but this squandered time and was a trouble for each you and the other individual. Definitely, there must be a much better way. Internet faxing retains faxes from not being received simply because of problems with your fax device. You get a get virtual sms number that you can give out to anyone. They can deliver you faxes using this quantity, and rather than getting them on the fax machine, you get them on-line.

These are just a few of the many tools and solutions to assist free up your time as a freelance bookkeeper. If you believe about an area of your company to automate, I guarantee you there is probably a instrument available to do it. It's a matter of doing research to discover it.

The subsequent piece to spluge on for your office or house is the camera. There are several fantastic cameras for $99 to $499. The Apple(tm) camera for the mac appears remarkably like the pro grade computer digital camera from Polycom(tm). I use the Logitech(tm) pro series and they work great. Each computer in our offices has one.

This has a lot of advantages that you may not understand at initial. Even if the other person is utilizing a regular fax device, the service converts the fax that they deliver into a format that can be seen on a computer. This provides you with an automated electronic backup duplicate of every fax that you obtain. You by no means have to shed a fax once more, simply because you can organize them and back them up digitally. You can put them into folders in your email account or in the fax service account you get from the services provider. You can download your information and burn up them to disc.

With the virtual calling cards buying and contacting is so simple.a couple of actions on a Computer and you are carried out. Talk for long.it doesn't price the earth anymore.
